Friends of the Band Events

The Friends of the Band run various events each year including Coffee Mornings and the Summer and Christmas Fayres.  The Friends also sell souvenirs at Band Concerts.  These include Band CDs, Mugs and Notelets.

The next friends events are as follows:-

10th July - Band Summer Fayre, Rushen Primary School - 2pm

Who are the Friends of Rushen Silver Band?

The 'Friends' are a varied group of people who help to raise money and support Rushen Silver Band.



The Friends presenting the Band with a new van for getting instruments and equipment to and from engagements.

What do the 'Friends' do?

The 'Friends' organise a range of events during the year including :
  • Summer Fayre
  • Coffee Mornings
  • Christmas Fayre
    • The 'Friends' also sell souvenirs at most of the Band's concerts.

    How can I become involved?

    You can help in a variety of ways at any of the Friends events and also Band  concerts.  Meetings are informal and are open to anyone with an interest in supporting their local band.
