70th Anniversary Gala Concert with Richard Evans

As a culmination of the events to mark their 70th Anniversary, Rushen Silver Band are performing a Gala Concert on Saturday 19th October at the King's Court Theatre, King William's College at 7.30pm.

The concert will feature the Senior Band and training band Ballafesson Brass under the baton of the world famous conductor Richard Evans.

Band Chairman Tom Sinden: "The band are delighted to welcome Richard Evans to lead us in our 70th Anniversary Concert. Richard is one of the most sought after conductors in the world, and his CV is second to none. All the players in our training band and senior band are really looking forward to the opportunity of performing with Richard. We are very grateful to the Manx Lottery Trust for their help with what should be a very special event."
