In 2002, the band completed an extension to the bandroom, enabling more space for our growing Friday night learners, and giving the band room to run sectional rehearsals, as well as having increased storage space. Many thanks go to the Isle of Man Public Lotteries Trust, the Isle of Man Arts Council, the Estate of Mr T.E. Lowey, the Friends of Rushen Silver Band and the generosity of all who contributed towards raising funds for the extension.
A big thank you must also go to David and John Radcliffe, who generously donated both the land the original bandroom was built on, and that for the extension.
The Bandroom is located in Ballafesson, just off the Port Erin - Colby road. If you take the left hand turn (Qualtroughs Lane) immediately before the Ballachurry corner, heading out of Port Erin, the bandroom can be found on the right hand side.
